Chapter 77
Damien’s POV
“I really want to pull this trigger and let the bullet land in your empty skull, but I won’t do that!” Sonia exclaimed, staring deeply into Joan’s face.
When did Sonia turn to this?
I planned on asking her about it, but not now; Joan was to be dealt with first.
“I don’t think you have an idea of what you have done at all, do you?” I asked Joan as she sat still and was the calmest I had ever seen her be.
She managed to look up at me in fear, in the hopes that Sonia wouldn’t empty the gun into her head.
“I thought I was…” Joan stuttered.
The only thing still keeping her sane was probably the fact that I was present there; if she was alone with my sister, she would have passed out a couple of times.
“You lying!” Sonia countered her immediately, and the words dropped.
Something popped into my mind in that moment.
“You are making a public announcement and apology,” I stated.
Joan’s face went pale.
