Chapter 127
Madison’s scream was so piercing that it woke everyone immediately, all at once.
“What’s wrong?” Nathan jolted on his feet from the chair where he was lying.
“No! No!” Leave me alone. “Go away!”
What did Nathan do? Nothing. Madison was not talking to Nathan when she said, “Go away.”
“How do we know this?” Madison’s eyes were closed when she said this. She was swinging her body in all directions and was turning from left to right.
“What is going on with Mom?” Mark asked, he was terribly frightened and could not stop the tears from pouring out.
“Don’t look.” Sia held the boys—Mark and Max and fixed their gaze on her body. She acted as a barrier to their sight. Sia blocked them from seeing Madison in that pitiful mood.
“What’s going on?” Sia asked.
“I don’t really know,” Nathan’s voice was fully drenched in panic. He tried to stable Madison on the bed by holding her put on the bed but she refused to stay at a place.
