Chapter 12. Fleeting Feelings
Rachel found it hard to compose other music. She kept on tearing the pages on her notepad and threw it on the floor. Rachel was distressed and buried her head towards the table as she ran the few melodies in her ears.
They were having a practical, on-stage exam in a couple of days, and in order to pass the subject to move on to the next year, all of them had to compose their own songs. Their ideas are limited to some of the musicians that live before Queen Victoria’s reign.
Rachel sighed. It’s a few days after Ezekiel dropped by at their school.
“Where are you?” Rachel mumbled and breathed deeply. She looked outside of the window, getting consumed by the music of the environment. Rachel doesn’t use nature as her inspiration, but when that whirlwind river did her thing to bring her to the past, everything became clear that her surroundings are responsible for her harmony.
