Chapter 54. The Break-Up (1)

“Let’s go to the Heartless Pub.”

It was the sunset when Rachel nudged for Luther to drink a few beverages at the prestigious Heartless Pub. They were sitting down at a bench close to the fountain of the university when she decided to break it off.

It’s better to separate herself from the hopes of Luther that makes him think she’s going to marry him. Rachel knew this was the day. No one can change her thoughts.

She offered her hand to Luther and they walked back to the university, hand in hand.

When they got back in the quarters, the sinking feeling was enough for Rachel to be in a dazed state for 20 minutes or so. Luther must be overwhelmed with joy that he couldn’t take off the smile on his lips. It was plastered there for another hour or so.
