Chapter 61. Visitor
Rachel never expected that Ezekiel would drop by on a Sunday morning when it’s his rest day from his training. She went down fast and met her downstairs while everyone was still asleep.
Rachel was welcomed with flowers in his hand. It is the fresh picks of tulips, and Rachel knew that it came from the garden they are taking care of at the back of their platoon. Ezekiel greeted, “I picked this out for you. And good morning to the most beautiful lady I know.”
She was surprised with his greeting that Rachel started to back him out of the university’s lobby.
Ezekiel was stunned with what she did and it became such a hassle for him. When they’re out of the university lobby, he turned to her with an abashed look, and asked, “What are you doing? I’m just giving you flowers on a lovely Sunday.”
