Chapter 53. Urge to Answer
Both of them sneaked out of the camp and into the garden the soldiers established around the time of Thanksgiving. Ditching the practice for the drills, Rachel can label these memories as one of her cores, as one of the reasons she wanted to be a better person in the next days to come.
Retrieving the cutters, they stroll around the blossoming roses and cut some. Ezekiel stated they are allowed to retrieve it and make some bouquet. Rachel was laughing all the time and Ezekiel swayed himself that this memory wouldn’t fade away in his minds.
“You were just like these flowers whenever you’re playing the piano,” Ezekiel complimented.
Rachel sat down at the nearest antique chair, watching Ezekiel retrieving a sheet of newspaper, placing the roses at the top, and arranging it on a good form. She asked, “You see me as a flower whenever I’m gliding my fingers at the piano?”
