Chapter 136

A man called Mira and said that he wasn't able to get the baby. 

Cage refused to believe that Mira would do something like that but at the same time, he couldn't stop himself from suspecting her.

“Cage, are you there?” Lucy snapped him out of his thoughts.

“Yeah, I was just thinking about something. Well I'm sure the police will find who is responsible soon.” He assured and she ended the call immediately. 

“Could Mira be behind this? But what would she gain from killing an innocent child?” He asked rhetorically and sighed heavily.

“I need to investigate.”

Mr Thompson was busy going through some files in his living room when Vincent entered, breathing heavily and scanning the whole room like some sort of detective. His eyes landed on the old man and he approached him speedily.
