Chapter 241

Ash dropped the pan she was holding as she watched Lucy head towards the door.

“Wait!” Ash yelled out.

Lucy stopped as she turned around staring at Ash.

“How did you find this place?” Ash asked.

Lucy seemed a bit confused but she answered anyways.

“I followed the scent of the pastry and I made it to this place” Lucy replied softly.

Ash walked closer as she maintained eye contact with her. Lucy felt unease as she couldn't break the eye contact either.

“I am sorry for yesterday,I didn't mean to come off as rude. Lucas explained everything to me. I apologize” Ash said softly with her head bowed down.

Lucy took a deep breathe, she understood now. Ash wasn't aware of their situation. It made no sense to judge her or hold a grudge against her. She was going to give her the benefit of doubt. They could start something new together.

“It's fine, I forgive you” Lucy responded smiling.

Ash returned the smile warmly.

“Thank you”
