Chapter 242

Lucy felt the heat from Lucas body as she moved away. 

Lucas grabbed her waist as he pulled her closer.

“Relax, I won't do anything funny. Just take a deep breathe and clear your mind. You've been through a lot. Make use of this opportunity” Lucas said.

He let her go as he walked away.

Lucy watched him catwalk until he was out of sight. She folded her hands in thought as she looked over the compound.

Turning around she headed to her room.

Lucy bumped into her mother who stared at her like she had just seen a ghost.

“Mummy, are you okay?” Lucy asked.

Lucy's mom cast her face downwards.

“Remember how you begged me to accept Cage and i agreed. I wish I didn't, now we are back to square one. Sometimes you love someone who's just not good for you and there's multiple signs to let them go. Lucy this is another chance to redeem your bad decisions” Lucy's mother said. 

She got up as she walked out of the room leaving Lucy
