Lucas drove off without a second look at Cage, he was still very much angry that Lucy slept with him.

On his way home, Lucas picked up his phone and called someone.

“Yes, hello?”

“Good day, sir.” The voice replied.

“He has put his plan in place, it's our turn.”

“Just send me the details and leave the rest to me. I promise I'll do a clean job.”

“You have no other choice but to do a clean job. I ain't paying you such a huge amount of money so that you can slack off.” Lucas scoffed.

“You can count on me, sir.”

Lucas ended the call and a smile spread across his lips— a sinister smile. He wasn't going to give up the fight for Lucy's heart just like that. Knowing that Cage had started to create a soft spot for himself in Lucy's heart fueled his obsession even more.

“Poor Cage, he has no idea what's coming to him.” He chuckled and continued his drive home.
