Lucas couldn't believe his ears, it wasn't long ago that Cage was bragging about getting closer to Lucy after their beautiful night together and now they're getting divorced? It was the best news he'd heard all day. 

“That wasn't necessary. I never told you that I was planning to settle down with Lucas after our divorce.” Lucy folded her arms and scrunched her nose. “Your mother said so. Infact, she doesn't let me hear the end of it.” Cage retorted. “You have to stop listening to my mother!” Lucy almost yelled, getting irritated. “But you listen to her all the time! She asked you to divorce your husband and you couldn't let her down.” Cage scoffed. 

Lucy had started to tear up at that point but she blinked back her tears and maintained a straight face, refusing to create a scene.
