Chapter 18. The Same Random Emails
“Savannah, just my two cents…” Sandra pointed her index finger at Savannah, crossing her arms. “I think you should stop having a part-time job!”
“I agree,” Shirley chimed in, nodding in agreement. “You’re already struggling with your busy schedule, Sav, and it’s affecting you academically. That’s not good! You might lose your scholarship if you continue like this.”
The two were lecturing Savannah because she had randomly called their group chat, asking if she could borrow a laptop to work on homework she should have submitted already if she hadn’t forgotten about it. Sandra let her borrow a laptop since she had no classes for the day, and Shirley happened to be nearby during her break, so she joined them at a coffee shop near UST.
