I just want some peace. I want to be alone right now.

“Hey.” The person says once they enter. It’s my best friend, Chad.

“How are you doing? Did the doctor attend to you?” He asks and I smile.

“I will be up and moving in a few hours, and yes, the doctor attended to me. She gave me a d**g that would reverse the effects of the paralytic d**g in my system.” I inform him and he continues his walk towards me.

He sits on the other side of the bed and sighs loudly.

“Sounds like good news to me.”

He says and I chuckle.
