Chapter 74

When we both enter the living room, I see Chad and Carlos sitting on the couch with plates of bacon and eggs in their hands, but I don’t see James.

“Good morning.” Carlos greets them, and Chad speaks right after.

“Well, you two look nice. Where are you guys heading?” He inquires.

“Good morning, Carlos.” I greet him with a polite smile and he nods.

“I’m taking my beautiful lady here on a tour of London,” Robert says dramatically, causing Carlos and Chad to snicker.

“Man, do you even know London?” Chad asks and I can’t help but laugh.

“Makes it more exciting!” I mock Robert by saying, and everyone laughs.

The fact that I don’t see James here makes me feel a bit sad.

“It won’t be funny when you are having the time of your life in the streets of London,” Robert says to me with a smirk.

“Yeah, yeah,” Chad says and Carlos places a piece of bacon in his mouth.

“Where is James, by the way?” I ask no one in particular and Carlos rep
