Chapter 18

Jason is a really nice guy.

He seems like the perfect boyfriend, his girlfriend must be thrilled.

I wanted to spend today alone at the beach, but spending it with someone who knows how I feel is even better. We are about to leave the beach because it’s getting late.

I told Jason that I wanted to watch the sunset but he suggested that we leave before dark. Me being me, of course, I convinced him and we stayed for a couple of minutes.

The sun setting on the beach is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. The sky has colors that I haven’t even seen before. It’s breathtaking.

The beauty of it all paints a clear picture of what peace feels like.

Jason holds my hand gently and l lay my head on his shoulder as we both sit in the sand on a towel.
