Chapter 19

There are certain places that you go and they instantly become a part of you.

This coffee shop is one of those places for me. It’s a beautiful place that has so many memories. It has so much character and so much love.

I know almost all the staff here. Except the new ones that they recently hired. But that ain’t a problem because I will get to know them too.

“Rose!” I hear the cashier’s voice. It’s a white lady with blonde hair. She’s Linda, and she works on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

I like her, she’s really nice.

She has her hair in a ponytail and she’s rocking the uniform that all the employees here have to wear.

“Hi, Linda,” I say when I reach the counter.

Linda leans over the counter and hugs me and I do the same. She smells expensive. I should ask her for her perfume name, I really like it.

“Who is this young man?” She wiggles her eyebrows and has a goofy smile plastered on her face.
