Chapter 31

I sigh as I ring it for the third time. This time, I hear the door lock click. It then opens, but who I see is almost enough to make me faint.

What the hell is Jason doing here?!

“Hey.” He says. He smiles in a flirtatious way.

“Hey,” Sterling says. “If you don’t mind, we need to get in the apartment.” He continues. His voice holds authority.

Sterling gestures for me to step in and I do so. He follows behind me protectively.

What is wrong with this guy?! I turn around tentatively. “Hey, Jason. What are you doing here?” I speak in a fake cheery tone.

He walks towards the couch and flops down on it. He’s shirtless. Why the hell is this man shirtless in my home? How does he even know where I live, and who gives him the right to be half-naked?
