I’m not sure Sterling would have though, if he heard what I just said.

Today is a new day. To be specific, the day of one of my midterms. I’m not nervous, it’s Liberal Arts. I always do well in it.
I’m at school and the funny thing is that Sterling has this particular class too, along with Wesley.
Wesley and Lizzie went home last night and left me with my mother and Sterling. It was a quiet morning. A very quiet one.
Mom was occupied with work and Sterling pretended that I was invisible.
Whatever, I’m not apologizing. At least not right now. I walk into the class and I take my seat, two rows down from the front row. There are not a lot of people here, it’s pretty early.
I start to hear shoe clicks and I can already tell it’s Ms. Flowers, our lecturer.
