Chapter 58
“Apparently, I do.” He replies as he walks closer and closer to the big cabin. In no time, he reaches it and pushes the wooden door open with his legs.
I just remain standing in the snow barefoot again as I watch him disappear into the structure.

“Rose?” I hear a distant voice but I pay no heed. I remain standing in the white substance that falls from the sky. My feet are terribly cold to the point of numbness as I watch the larger cabin.
What am I doing?
I don’t know. I am just standing here, watching the cabin.
Why?
I don’t know either, but what I do know is that I am not mentally okay. That could be why I heard a distant voice.
“Rose?” I hear the voice again. Almost like a whisper but louder. I crease my forehead trying to decipher whether what I am hearing is imaginary or real.
“Oh, for crying out loud! Rose!” I hear the voice louder this time and I turn towards it. I see a small figure far within the thick bush
