Nina leaned lazily against the sofa and observed Charlie as he worked. She never seemed to have really taken a good look at him before.

And looking at him this closely, even Nina had to admit that Charlie was still a very handsome man even though he was already in his forties. He exuded the air that belonged to a successful and matured man when working, while his crooked tie added a bit of unruliness to his charm. He was like fine wine that had matured and gotten better with age.

“Are you satisfied with what you see, uhm?” Nina didn’t know when Charlie had paused in what he had been doing, but he was now watching her with an amused tinkle in his charming gray eyes.

Rolling her eyes inelegantly at him, Nina then said in a mocking tone, “Do you really think that you are that handsome? I was just wondering how a lazy person like you managed to look serious when working.”
