Elijah shook his head. “Those things won’t happen because I will fight if that’s what you want.”
Maegan laughed. “Let us see then.”
“Sir, please take that to the precinct. My son and I will follow to personally file a case against that woman,” said Elijah’s father.
“Go ahead.” They had already held Maegan. “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you, Ma’am, so just join us properly.”
“Well, I’ll come even if you don’t touch me. Your hands are dirty!” Maegan took a step forward, but faced them again. “Get ready, Elijah. You are mine, no matter what you do.”
Elijah was about to speak, but Alessa stopped him. Alessa stepped closer to him, and now it was she who grinned. “You get ready because I will never allow Elijah to come to you. You let him go then, suffer now.”
