He took a deep breath. “Yes. Just don’t let her hurt you. It doesn’t matter if I suffer, just don’t sympathize with her evil.”
Alessa smiled. “It’s a good thing I escaped. I don’t want you to marry her, huh?”
“You do not want it?” He asked.
“Of course. I love you, Elijah! Even if she kills me, just don’t marry—”
Alessa stopped speaking when Elijah kissed her on the lips. At first, she was shocked and her eyes were still wide, but just a few moments ago, she closed them and kissed him back.
