Alessa’s POV

“How was your flight? I’m sorry if we didn’t pick you up at the airport?” I apologized to Alyson when she and Bea entered Elijah’s private room.

She hugged me and also Elijah. She gave us a beautiful smile. “That’s okay. I don’t want to bother you either and I know that Elijah’s face is from surgery, so don’t think about it.”

“Guys, you don’t have to worry about Alyson because I’m with her. I’ll never let her down and I know how to entertain her,” Bea said proudly.

My husband just looked at her badly and even shook her head. “Shut up there, Bea. Just speak once. You’re making too much noise.”

Bea raised an eyebrow. “Why? I’m just telling you that Alyson is in good hands.”

“Babe?” Elijah called me. That’s why I looked at him. “Maybe you can let this girl out first. I’m making noise.”

Because I knew that Elijah was only joking, I ignored them and focused my attention on Alyson. “Have you eaten yet? What do you want to eat?
