Chapter 122. Making This Dramatic!

Colt’s POV

“What happened?” My voice died off as I recognized Kate’s helpless body lying on the side of the swimming pool. Someone was desperately trying to do CPR to save her life.

“No-no-no!” Sam yelled, passing me and running toward Kate. He pushed her savior to the side and continued with the CPR.

“Who did this?” Grey roared devastated next to me, searching for the one who was responsible.

The crowd looked at one another, shaking their heads. They were, or too afraid to tell us who had done this or didn’t see who the perpetrator was.

Grey turned toward the bar, saw the bartender, and grabbed hold of his shirt, pulling him over the bar and throwing him on the floor.

“Who is responsible for doing this?” he roared.

“I don’t know, Beta,” he said, whimpering. “I didn’t see!”

“You left Kate at the bar, unattended?” I asked Grey, narrowing my eyes at him.

Why would he do that?

He has never been this irresponsible!
