Catherine’s POV

“Are you telling me I am going to be an uncle?” Daniel whispered curiously.

My family and I were all sitting outside on the porch, having breakfast.

The lazy winter sun was giving us just enough warmth to enjoy the outdoors.

I chuckled and nodded. The news of my pregnancy had spread like wildfire.

“Yes!” David yelled out of joy, jumping to his feet and throwing his hands in the air out of excitement. “I am going to be an uncle!”

“You are not the only one,” Jimmy said sourly. Was he jealous of David?

“Gosh!” David gasped, looking at Jimmy. “We are both going to be uncles! Isn’t that great?”

I couldn’t help but laugh at David’s enthusiasm. I never thought that he would be so excited about becoming an uncle.

“It seems like you have an admirer,” my mom teased.

“We get along just fine,” I said. “He is quite interesting and entertaining.”

“That’s good,” my father said. “At least you are getting along
