Chapter 132. Filled With Pure Fear

Catherine’s POV

“Get everyone to safety!” Colt roared. “We are under attack!”

Under attack?

Is he sure?

Wasn’t it just a dream? A message in the fire?

“Get the woman and children to safety!” Grey yelled and shifted.

“Summon all the warriors and guards,” Sam roared behind me.

This isn’t how this evening should have ended. We were supposed to make love under the moon, not run for our lives and fight to protect the pack.

“Princess,” Sam said, his voice horse and dry, “it’s time to get you to safety.”

I nodded, knowing I would only be in the way if I stayed there.

Two years ago, I might have stubbornly refused to leave and wanted to help, but now I was a sitting duck, a liability, and a major safety risk for the pack and my mates.
