Catherine’s POV
I silently watched Grey sink to his knees, his face in his hands.
“What sorcery is this?” He whispered.
“Kia,” I answered. “She provided me with the ability to show you.”
“I told you to calm the f*ck down!” Colt said it angrily. “I told you that Sam isn’t out to take Kate from us.”
“This is not how Sam is!” He argued. “The Sam we know…”
“It’s selfish,” Colt said. “I know.”
“But he changed,” I said. “And you are destroying the bond that makes you brothers.”
“But…”
“No!” I stopped him. “Kia said that, or I will accept you all, or I will have to reject you all, else the balance will be disturbed.”
Before anyone could say another word, we were back in the living room, and I blinked against the bright light.
The weather outside had changed, and it seemed like rain.
