Colt’s POV

“Colt, help!” Sam’s panicked voice pushed through the mind-link. The urgency in his words didn’t go unnoticed.

I jumped to my feet, ran out of the sitting room, and dashed into the rain. In a mere second, I shifted to Ray and headed down to the beach.

The weather had become worse, and it was pouring outside. The wind was blowing, making it hard to see.

Lightning was playing over the waters, indicating that the storm would move ashore.

“Where are you?” I yelled over the link.

“On the west side, hurry!” Sam yelled.

“What happened? Where’s Grey?” I asked.
