Chapter 140. Plan After Plan
In her modest apartment room, Angeline smiled contentedly at her reflection in the cracked mirror. Three months had transformed her into a different person. A white blouse with a classic cut wrapped around her body, paired with an elegant navy midi skirt. Natural make up with nude rose lipstick replaced her thick makeup of the past. Her black hair was neatly arranged in a low bun.
“Good morning, Harry. Long time no see,” she said in a soft tone that she had practiced hundreds of times, much different from the seductive voice she used to use. Her hands moved gracefully, a gesture she had learned from Stella.
Angeline walks over to her desk which is covered in photos of Harry—the result of weeks of intensive stalking. There were pictures of Harry golfing at the Royale Club every Friday morning, photos of him enjoying blueberry milk at the Blue Café, and various moments of Harry with his successful business colleagues.
