Chapter 67. Sleeping Pills

Even with her lips pursed in annoyance, she did it anyway. The woman walked over to the medicine box on the table. She then took some sleeping pills that she occasionally used when she had trouble sleeping.

“It’s troublesome for people, even though he fainted and lost consciousness because he was drunk, but now he’s asking for sleeping pills. How strange.” Angeline grumbled as she walked out of the room. In his hand were some sleeping pills that he used to take if he had trouble sleeping.

When she arrived in front of Daniel, the woman immediately extended her right hand. “Take it.”

Daniel looked up and accepted the pills. “Thank you.”

“After this, don’t trouble me anymore, sleep well, and don’t bother me anymore,” Angeline said sternly.

Daniel just nodded, even though he still wanted Angeline to be here for a long time. However, he realized Angeline would not want to do that. After all, Angeline had changed; she was not the Angeline Daniel knew before.
