I can understand the frustrations that Josh is experiencing, and I am also aware of my own shortcomings. However, I felt compelled to speak to him in that manner because my illness has been taking a toll on me, and I could not bear to burden him any further. Additionally, I did not want him to witness the extent of my suffering, as it might lead him to question and worry about me.
Living with Josh is not really as difficult as I made it out to be. In truth, being with him feels like a love that puts your needs above all else. It is the kind of love that holds your hand while driving, the kind of love that ensures we never go to sleep without saying good night to each other. It is the love that takes care of you when you are sick, providing medicine, soup, and comforting hugs. It is the love that faces challenges together, never giving up on one another.
