What the hell was happening? Why was I not able to shrug off this weary feeling that I had seen this man before?

“Have you read the terms and conditions?” His voice pulled me out of my reverie again.

“I am confused by what you mean here. Why do I need to live in the quarters provided by the company? I have an apartment. An employee of your company lives with me. It’s only 20 minutes from here,” I looked at him, confused.
