“Are you ready to do it?” Alchemist looked at me to get my final approval.

It had been four days since I had been training day in and out, working harder than ever to get myself skilled enough to take Jarvin down.

I had taken combat training from my stepfather and even practiced regularly, but it was nothing compared to what Alchemist made me go through.

For three days straight, even getting out of bed felt like a chore. Sleep became a necessity to give my body enough time to heal.

Every time I woke up from sleep, my body felt like it had rested for a few minutes only. There were hours when I was drifting in and out of consciousness.
