Angelica’s POV

‘I can't believe it. Did we even do right by bringing her here?’

‘I think we should've taken her with us. What if she hates us for it?’

‘She is already angry about what we all did. And we deserve it.’

The familiar voices sounded around me, and I furrowed my brow.

What were they talking about? Were they talking about me? Of course, they were.

But why couldn't I open my eyes? Was it morning? I wondered before the events of what had happened flashed through my mind.

No. I wasn't sleeping. I had fainted. But why?

I even drank the detoxification water. There wasn't any weakness that I was feeling at that moment. Restless and overwhelmed, but def
