Chapter 65

Aidan glances at Adam with a hint of suspicion, uncertain about what he wants to announce on this momentous occasion. He, too, is unaware of Adam’s intentions for this press conference.

Amidst enthusiastic applause from the audience inside the room, Adam approaches the podium and, to the surprise of everyone, including Aidan, he wears a calm and casual smile while facing the serious and cold press.

“First of all, I sincerely thank all of you for being here today. I have some joyful news to announce,” Adam deliberately pauses momentarily.

Joyful news? What could it be?

The crowd listens to Adam’s words, and confusion and curiosity fill the air. Aidan, too, is bewildered, his surprise evident on his face.
