"Isn't he on the veranda? I saw him there a few minutes before," Amelia looked back at the girl.

"He isn't there," Evelyn frowned. "I searched everywhere but he's nowhere,"

"Don't worry, dear. He must've gone out for a walk," Scarlett patted Evelyn's shoulder with a small smile.

"Do you think he found his mate already?" The girl asked her mother-in-law.

Scarlett smiled. "If they live in our pack, then, of course, his wolf must've been able to sense them by now,"

"Maybe he's spending time with them," Amelia shrugged as she stirred something that was in the pan.
