Chapter 44

Three days.

It's been three days since Rain fell unconscious.

He woke up the next day after the incident but he couldn't talk because he was so exhausted. The omega only cried instead of saying anything which worried everyone including the alpha of the pack.

Evelyn, Josh, and Scarlett stayed beside him most of the time, helping Amelia take care of the boy.

It was in the evening of the third day when Rain decided to sit up. He looked like he had been through hell and back.

No one questioned him. Everybody just waited for the omega to talk.

Rain looked up and tried to muster up a small smile. "W-Water," He croaked out and Scarlett rushed to get a glass of water. She gave it to the omega who hungrily downed it one go.

"Rain, are you okay?" Scarlett asked softly.

The boy nodded meekly and mustered up another smile.

"Do you need anything else? Are you hungry?" Evelyn asked as she stepped forward
