Chapter 130. A Magical Test

Bryony’s nightmares prevent her from getting a lot of restful sleep at night, so I encourage her to nap when she can. When she’s awake, she often draws disturbing images. If my daughter is a seer, then she’s seeing troubling visions of the future. It’s a lot for a three-year-old girl to have to process.
Bryony is taking a nap in her room when Ivy comes to see me after lunch. She’s contacted the coven about testing my daughter for seer abilities. I will need to take Bryony to the coven for the tests, but right now, she’s too tired to travel to another location again. She misses her father dearly, and I haven’t heard from Rainer in a few days. Having to do all of this on my own is not ideal.
“I found a simpler test. It’s not as comprehensive as the tests the coven will make Bryony go through, but this is just a way to check for clairvoyance,” Ivy explains. “Minor divination. A lot of witches can do this.”
