It took me several days to track down the Blood Takers. They kept moving and seemed to travel in a pattern anyone would call confusing. They’re not travelling in a straight line. They’ve been turning left and right into different territories, keeping to the woods and out of sight.

I finally found them through sheer luck as I intercepted a message about one of the Blood Takers dying. Through that message, I found the campsite where they buried two bodies, a male vampire and a female shifter–without a head. The request for back-up works perfectly in my favor. Even with their initial suspicion, they let me into the group, and Lydia Nightstone is within my sight.
