Kade’s grip tightened on my jaw, his thumb brushing just below my lips. His gaze burned into mine, hot and sizzling with tension. 

“Replused by you?” he repeated, his voice low, dangerous, sexy as hell. “Belladonna, if that was the case, I wouldn't still be feeling the taste of your skin on my tongue.”

My breath hitched slightly, but he caught it, his upper lip twitching. 

Damn this man and his sweet tongue. I almost gave in, just carved and begged him to take me. But I stood my ground. Even though I was a sucker for long hair and mismatched eyes paired with a hot body, I still have to hold on to a bit of my dignity—or at least try to.
