Silas used one of his cards. That was when he slipped.
Six months have passed and whatever he had prepared was running out or had already run out if he could be careless enough to use his card.
One of the tech guys we hired received a ping on his laptop as soon as the card was used, and we immediately received a call.
All three of us rushed over to where he was, hoping. My heart was beating so loud in my ear that I could barely hear anything else.
