Silas stared at Kross, who stared back. Then he scoffed, leaning down on his seat and spreading his legs.
“And how will you do that, Kross?” he asked, his expression one of indifference, but Kross remained composed as he answered.
Kross’s voice was low, controlled. “By showing them proof of your sabotage and greed. What you did with the company’s shipments seven months ago, just before this whole mess began.”
“Before he goes on, I must say… I’m disappointed, Father,” Kade said, his voice bored, yet it carried a heavy weight. I looked between them, confused. “Sabotaging your ally? That’s low, Father, even for you.”
