We fell into steps and began walking side by side but I couldn’t help steal glances at the rugged man. He walked with such ease and yet had this commanding presence about him. I couldn’t understand how he always calmed me down, irrespective of what I was feeling.

Uncontrollably my eyes would waver to him and he noticed as he watched me from his peripherals. A lopsided smile made its way on his lips as he mischievously asked.

“Maybe you wish to lean on my shoulder now.”

I couldn’t help but engulf back the embarrassing giggle that was about to fall through my lips at being caught staring. But I was done trying to hide how I felt around this man.

From now onwards I will take what I desire. Instead of answering him, I decided to show him that with my actions.
