In the next few days, I prepared for the press conference I was supposed to hold to announce my return to the world and prove that I was innocent.

Asher helped and guided me a ton. He booked and arranged for the hall and sent invitations to all major news channels, agencies and journalists.

Even the Alphas of all the major packs of Howler City had been invited.

The day of the press conference arrived and I chose a neat white blouse and black pleat skirt with leggings. My hair were professionally tied up in a bun at the back of my head.

The hall was brimming with people and activity. Cameras flashed as everyone discussed the topic of the press conference.

Standing backstage, my hands fidgeted and sweat broke out on my temples when Asher placed this warm one on my shoulder.
