Jason

The moment I woke up, I felt sore in all the parts of my body. The hospital bed wasn’t made to accommodate two people after all.

Eve was still very much asleep so I just got out of the bed and went to wash my face and take a bath.

By the time I got back, she was already awake and the doctor was here.

“Mrs. Coleman, you’re free to be discharged this morning.” The doctor said with a smile on his face.

Is he eager to let us or what?

“Good morning doctor.” I said loud enough so he would notice my presence in the room.

“Oh morning, Mr. Coleman.” He said moving away so I could pass.

I nodded in acknowledgement and walked towards the bed where Eve laid.

“Are you going to visit the obstetrician this morning?” The doctor asked and I shook my head.

“We’re not?” Eve seemed surprised.

“We’ll go after breakfast.” I said smiling at her and she smiled.

“I’ll leave you be.” The doctor said walking out of the room.<
