The moment everyone retired to their rooms and their homes, I knew this was my moment to strike.

I took my bath and came out of the room only to meet her on the bed already fast asleep.

“Eve…” I whispered quietly and she hummed in response.

“What about what you promised me?” I mumbled and she groaned.

“Tomorrow.” She mumbled and I sighed.

“Why not tonight?” I asked with a frown.

“I can’t make anything tonight, I’m tired.” She said and I raised my brows.

“You promised me something delicious.” I grumbled.

“Jason, you said you had a lot to eat today, do you still want to eat again?” She groaned.
