Chapter 22

I kissed him briefly before slipping on some leggings, a gorgeous white top, and my underwear, followed by a warm soothing shower and my typical morning routine. I must admit that I felt strange. I felt more significant. Yes, I do sound like a jerk.

After I finished my shower and my usual procedure, I dried my hair and pulled it into a tight high pony tail before applying a little make-up. I returned to the bedroom to find Ollie dressed in clean clothes on the bed. I walked over to the dressing table and put my engagement ring on it.

Matias smiled as I approached the edge of the bed. He held his hands up for me to help him up. I smiled at him and shook my head. I extended both of my hands, lightly holding his. As he looked me up and down, I noticed something cross his gaze. A sneer appeared on his face. I frowned my brows at him, rather perplexed by what was going on.
