Chapter 21
I could feel the warmth against my flesh. I felt smooth fabric draped across my body. My eyes were still closed. I realized why I had passed out.
I was out walking. Then comes the agony. It pierced my shoulder. It got progressively worse. The sensation I had when I dropped to the ground. Gavin, Aurora, and my parents... as well as Ollie. They exchanged glances. They were conversing. I was developing a Royal presence earlier than usual. Wait! What was it that was on my back?
When I opened my eyes, I was greeted by the sight of my bedroom. I lowered my gaze to myself. My hair was thrown across the bed, and I realized I was still wearing one of my nightgowns. I was feeling fine now. I felt strong and lively, but I had a stronger presence in the room, one that rivaled Ollie's.
