Chapter 29. You Are Too Good for Me

Levi’s POV

Louis came bounding into the office this morning with Lotus’s scent draped over him. The smile on his face was infectious, and the pit that had been growing in my stomach since Lennox recognized her as his mate got larger.

His eyes glittered with excitement as the words spilled from his lips. “She is my mate.”

Lennox jumped up to congratulate our brother, but I needed air.

I have been walking among the hedges, trying to clear my mind, but it is useless. There must be a reason why my lycan hasn’t recognized her as his mate yet. I tell myself that I don’t know the truth, but that’s a lie.
