As soon as Sasha opened the library door, the view of Cal’s head atop a porcelain plate, surrounded by what seems to be petals of chrysanthemum, made her heart cease to beat for a second.
‘This is pure cruelty,’ she thought and her fingers curled into a fist at that. But one look on her face, Alpha Alain Irons already knew what she thought.
